One of the best ways to jump start one’s sedentary lifestyle is to carry a motivating device called a pedometer. it allows you see how much daily exercise you get in a normal day of work, including errands, trips to pick up the kids and other tasks. as a result, you can clearly see and measure the number of daily calories burned during your daily routine. Then you can add in specific workout sessions as needed to meet your weight loss goals. I suggest a pedometer that is sensitive enough to allow you to place it in your pocket, bag, purse or belt and yet it can stil track your daily exercise output.
A pedometer called the Omron Digital Pocket Pedometer does just that and has some nifty features also. it comes standard with a large easy-to-read LCD display that can separately display aerobic steps connected to minutes walked. Plus it has a 7 day history so you can review your exercise week and it’s able to display calories burned, distance and also has a built in highly accurate clock. it can be fun to begin one day with the unit and then try to see if you can maintain or even beat your previous step record the next day. Give it a try as it’s getting rave reviews for weight loss help – you can do it!

Get The Scoop On The Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer
Customer reviews are a great way to research a product and find out if it truly delivers. here are a few reviews from owners of the Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer.
In the past 3 years I have tried MANY pedometers, Omron, Sportline, McDonald’s promotional, etc. Omron is the only brand that I have found to be at all accurate. about 3 months ago I read about the newer HJ-112 in Health magazine and knew I had to get one. This pedometer is the most accurate one to date. I love the fact that I can stick it inconspicuously in my pocket or purse and still count my steps. Most others would pop off my waistband at some point and I would lose them. it is amazing how much more aware I am of my daily movement. Every step, and every short walk really adds up. one word of warning: be careful to remember to REMOVE it from your pocket before laundering your pants.
I am certainly no expert on the subject of pedometers, or anything else electronic, truth be told. On the other hand, I have purchased and used several different models, from several different companies and manufacturers, all at different prices and all with different features. I have also researched these things, both here on Amazon and other points of purchase and talking to friends. This Omron is by far the best.
So where is it Available and is it On Sale Anywhere? The best sales price I could find for this product was here which included free shipping.

i don’t understand why it’s called calorie restriction. the caloric recommendations are fairly arbitrary anyway. why not just say that what a normal man needs is 1900 calories, and a woman 1500-1600?
Pedometers are a useful tool to track aerobic steps. Walking is a great way to incorporate activity in your daily life.
